Around 3000 BC a new age of mankind started. Neolithic villages were replaced by cities, states, and empires. Due to the development of pro­duction methods, there were plenty of resources, much more than necessary for the mere survival of people. As a sign of the development of civili­sations, huge constructions were started. These structures were mostly associated with gods or rulers who were considered gods.
